Bode Werner is a 2027 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Shiner, TX who attends Shiner. Big lengthy frame with good blend of strength and athleticism. Ran a 7.23 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short strides to the ball and fields it clean, lower slot release with big arm strength, up to 88 and showed big carry to bags, accurate as well. Clean work as a corner type in the infield too, hands work clean and arm plays well across. Pitches too, quick delivery with good tempo, short takeback and works from a high slot, cuts the fastball some up to 80 getting across his front side, softer breaking ball but good shape and raw spin on it. Right-handed hitter, set up well and works the barrel out on time, loose hands and impacts it well with lower effort, good separation already and plenty of well-struck liners. Named to 2023 13/14 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
