Jenuel Velazquez is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek. Compact frame with proportional strength throughout. Ran a 7.65 sixty yard dash. Outfield, fields off to the side with a one handed gather into a crow hop, aggressive charge to the ball, quick glove to hand transfer to an extended 3/4 slot release. Also pitched, up tempo delivery with really fast lower half actions, good rhythm and body control down the mound, lower 3/4 slot, fastball showed angle to right handed hitters, turned over a nice fading changeup that tunneled well with the fastball, showed long glove side break to the curveball, command all three pitches and lived in the lower quadrants. Left handed hitter, slightly open stance with a high hand set and a high back elbow, easy compact swing, ability to manipulate the barrel and hit the ball in the air, produced hard contact in batting practice and in live game. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
