Lucas Hattrup is a 2028 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano West Senior. Young, lean build. 7.98 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, even stance, high hands and a low back elbow in the stance, long stride out into contact, short swing with young bat speed. Impacted to the middle of the field consistently, flashed ability to get extended. Primary outfielder, waits back on grounders, gets the glove down late and fields with one hand on the side of the frame, developing arm strength. Young actions working through the ball, recorded throws up to 64 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, above the belt leg lift, higher three-quarters slot. Got weak contact when in the zone, pitched a few clean innings. Got the fastball up to 65 mph (1644 RPM) and mixed a curveball with big shape in the upper-50s (1448 RPM). Also worked out in the infield, works through grounders, made all the plays showing fundamentals. Two hand funnel out front, clean transfer and developing arm speed, recorded accurate throws up to 63 mph. Will continue to progress with added size and strength. Great student.
