Ty Weber is a 2027 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Ocean View, DE who attends Indian River. Big and strong build for a freshman with plenty of projection remaining. Works from a full wind up and stays compact and balanced well, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics very well for his age, smooth low effort mechanics. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, throws the fastball where he wants it to all quadrants. Slider and change up were good pitches with consistent arm speed and were slotted well. Pounded the strike zone and dominated. Two-way prospect. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright slightly open stance with a low hand load, good controlled stride into contact, well timed swing with an accurate barrel, showed a middle of the field line drive approach and executed it well. 5.29 runner in the forty. Worked out both in the outfield and infield, tools and athleticism fit best at third base moving forward, arm is his best defensive tool at present, tends to play upright on defense with step by step actions. Excellent student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
