Jonathan Gonzalez Rodriguez is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Patillas, PR who attends Fountain Christian. Medium height with and athletic look and lots of room to fill. Ran a 7.34 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, starts with a comfortable set and has a short exchange and clean release. Consistent on line footwork and true carry. A secondary outfielder, waits to time the ball before working through with a fast exchange and stayed behind the throws. A right-handed hitter, starts balanced and in line. Quiet load and weight shift works the barrel deep and uses a gap to gap approach. Pretty good eye hand coordination and timing. Good student.
