Nathan Loupe is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Raceland, LA who attends Covenant Christian Academy. Athletic frame with length and projection. Ran a 7.39 in the sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive charge with a quick first step, fields two hands out front, choppy footwork into a crow hop, high slot release with throws up to 72 mph, good lower body actions. Also worked out in the infield, clean footwork with an efficient transfer, made accurate throws from a lower slot. Also pitched, simple mechanics with a knee to chest leg lift, sits deep into his back leg before driving down the mound with a slight back turn away from the batter, medium arm circle to a 3/4 release and a crossfire landing at foot strike, fastball peaked at 69 mph to go along with a curveball that had slurvy shape and back foot angle, power to the breaking ball with tight spin, got a fair amount of swing and misses with the offering. Left handed hitter, wide base with a high hand set and a high back elbow, deeper hand load, loose swing through the zone with developing bat speed, can manipulate the barrel to go the other way, made consistent line drive contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
