Jacobi Allen is a 2021 C/RHP with a 5-8 195 lb. frame from Saint Helens, OR who attends St Helens. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.55 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down low in his legs as he is a wide with the stance. Feel for the glove as he flashed catch and release skills. Got the baseball out of hand with urgency as he recorded a 2.02 second pop time with accuracy to the bag. Fundamentally sound and had instincts behind the dish. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side rocker step to a belt high lift as he is balanced up top. Strides online to target and flashed a compact arm action as he delivered from a higher three-quarter slot. Ran the fastball up to 76 mph and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball he landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a wider base and higher hands. Works into a higher leg lift to stride as he gains little ground. Strength in the hands working as he threw the bat head at the baseball. Pop in the bat starting to show to the pull-side while also proving he could spray it on a line to all fields. Proved he could leverage the baseball and impacts with authority.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
