Owen Hawley is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Cape Henry Collegiate School. Recorded a 8.09 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a big frame and strong build. Side saddle stance on throws replacing the feet and working under the ball from a high setup. Short arm stroke with online throws as he matures into his big frame for a quicker release. Secondary corner infielder with a deep two-hand funnel to exchange. Corner footwork and actions with throws across the diamond at 76 mph. Left-handed hitter with an open stance and hanging inward trigger stride. Coordinated rhythm to the swing with extension out front and pull side impact. Controls the barrel through the zone with bat speed and extension out front. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
