Cade Cerone is a 2025 SS/RHP/C with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends San Clemente HS. Started off the event clocking a 6.99 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop, secondary pitcher. Plays well on the move defensively in the infield, has plenty of arm strength and gets rid of the ball quickly with sound fundamentals. Right handed hitter, has a short swing with quick hands, shows good leverage at contact, ball comes off the barrel with hard line drive jump and was aggressive attacking the ball in games. On the mound, he features a 3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Cerone has as a flexible high leg raise delivery and shows good direction and energy down the mound with a clean 3/4 arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph and showed a nice change up and tight curveball. Named to the Top Prospect List.
