2023 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Grant Bazinet is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Heritage. Bazinet worked exclusively from his primary IF spot on the event, sporting an athletic look to the build with smooth actions and quick twitch movements. He displayed some effortless lateral range up the middle with the ability to change slots, topping out at 82 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow slightly open stance with some hover to the leg trigger producing consistent hard contact to the pull side of the field. He flashed compact hand speed through the zone and created backspin throughout his round, posting an exit velo of 83 mph. Ran a 7.31 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
