Matthew Del is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 5-5 160 lb. frame from Rochelle Park, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Young, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.71 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, high leg lift up past belt, remains on line down the mound and shows an easy arm stroke working to an over-the-top release point. Balanced and repeats, works around the plate well and pitched to contact, located curveball around the zone, up to 55 mph and will continue to develop moving forward. Works on top of the ball on throws across the infield, deliberate actions and footwork, shows accuracy, shorter steps on the charge, shows ability to drop slot. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the ball and through point of contact, keeps hands inside, rotational swing with a linear path. Occasionally gets mistimed, showed he can go with the outer half pitch. Good student.
