Henry Clausell Giraud is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Patillas, PR who attends Perkiomen. Nice symmetrical frame with good athleticism and present physicality and still time to develop more. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Primary position corner IF, showing easy smooth glove work, getting out front and securing ball nicely. Foot work was good from the first step and read angles well. Plenty of arm and accuracy reaching 88 mph across the diamond from IF and 1B. Secondary RHP, using side step to transition to high leg lift over the rubber. Simple repeatable delivery, using lower-half well and displaying good feel for his arsenal. Ran his FB up to 88 mph with some boring arm side action. Firm CB with solid spin and vertical shape in the mid-70's and CH was very affective with deadening spin. RHH working from a narrow slightly open stance and good handset. Loose, compact hands creating barrel whip and small hover leg lift to create timing and build energy. Middle of the field contact with low, line drive trajectory and really leaned on balls into the oppo gap. Projects to hit for average and power long term. Good student who is currently uncommitted.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
