Brayden Sakowski is a 2025 C/RHP, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. Recorded a 7.27 second sixty yard dash time. Small and slender frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up, has a quick transfer and gets the ball out with urgency. Short arm action with some good, young arm strength, recorded a 2.12 second pop time at 70 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch. Tall and fall delivery. Low effort mechanics. ¾ arm slot with short arm path. Hides ball well. Repeats delivery well. Primarily used fastball throughout outing. Offering sat 71-75 mph, touching 77 mph, with some armside run. Pounds the zone well. Flashed curveball at 64-65 mph. Featured some downward, 1-7 break. Inconsistent with offering. Struggled to repeat shape. Allowed hitters to hunt fastball. Ability to throw strikes is intriguing, will improve with further development of secondaries. Right-handed hitter with a spread stance and big hand drop to start the swing. Excessive hand movement/hitch causes some timing issues and does not allow him to get the barrel on plane early. High intent swinger that looks to do damage, produced some solid contact to the opposite field, does not get the barrel turned over at times. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
