Aiden Woods is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 5-8 151 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Emsley A Laney. Young athlete with some strength already and a lot of time to grow. Primary position 1B, showing good feel with the glove, accurate and securing the ball nicely, Made all the plays, worked angles well and was comfortable around the bag. Medium arm path, making quality throws and showing 71 mph velocity across diamond. Secondary RHP, using a quick cadence to his delivery, small side step to simple leg lift just above waist to reach balance. Gets into back leg well down the mound. Breaks hands at chest into over the top angle working very linear to foot strike and rotating well. FB up to 73 mph with lower spin and CB in the low-60's early in development but shows vertical spin. Solid foundation mechanically to build on. RHH working from narrow setup, using hanging leg lift to be on time. Some length in front arm and big barrel tilt to activate hands. Pull oriented approach with power projection.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
