Mitch Jones is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends Junius H Rose. Recorded 6.65 seconds in the sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop fields the ball out front with clean glove actions and moves into a smooth transfer showing good footwork while accurately throwing 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even, wide stance and high hands alongside a short coiling front leg trigger as he pauses the hands creating good contact on the ball. Jones has good barrel control and impact off the barrel. Tremendous student.
