Bryan Guy is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS with a 5-9 133 lb. frame from Woonsocket, RI who attends Bellingham. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, begins with side step moving into a medium leg lift at top of delivery, drop and drive lower half mechanics coming down the mound. Loose arm action through the backside working to a low three-quarters release point; fastball topped out at 68 mph and featured natural running life to arm side. Pitched exclusively off of the pitch, gets inconsistent with release at times, worked around the zone with fastball, strides on line coming down the mound. Longer strides to the ball in the infield, longer arm action working to a three-quarters slot, lower effort release, young actions with footwork, fields the ball out front. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and an open stance, utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Stays shorter to the ball and works on a linear swing path. Rotational swing, works to all fields, projects with additional lower half incorporated. Very good student.
