Johnny Neal is a 2025 RHP/C, 3B, SS with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Moreland Hills, OH who attends Orange High, Pepper Pike, OH. Medium frame with young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step into leg raise, flexed on back side, drop and drive downhill, medium arm stroke to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 71-73 mph with very true action, curveball has looser spin and occasional depth in low-60's. Hits from wide-spread stance with high hand set, leg lift trigger, gains no ground in stride, lengthy grooved path, rotational upper body dominant swing. Sets high behind the plate, moves backwards into throws, rotates hips and fires, clocked up to 62 mph down to 2nd base. Also took infield reps and threw 75 mph. Good student.
