Nathan Reaney is a 2028 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Vista, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Medium athletic build with good strength for his age. Has a well balanced and easy delivery on the mound that is easy to repeat, gets turned well with a high leg raise start and moves on-line down the mound. Change up was an outstanding pitch with arm speed and tumble. Curveball had hard spin with 11/5 shape and good depth. Fastball was his third best pitch this outing, topped out at 82 mph with more velocity there in the future, has nice running life on his fastball. Really knows how to pitch for his age and is able to locate in all quadrants. 7.90 runner in the sixty. Plays the infield when not on the mound with third base tools and actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a limited shift into contact, downhill swing plane that puts the ball on the ground, has some strength to develop some pop in the future. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
