Andrew Benson is a 2025 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mill Creek. Longer frame with plenty of projection and good present overall muscularity. Ran the 60 yard dash in a very solid 6.84 seconds. Primary position C, with a slightly offset start and sitting deeply in his initial stance. Quick transition to throw gaining ground directly to the bag. Good midline transfer to longer arm path with nice carry and accuracy around the bag. Up to 78 mph on feeds and a pop time best 1.97 seconds. Reps from the OF as well, good aggression coming through the ball with glove out front. One hand gather to the side before getting to throw. Plus arm strength here, up to 89 mph back to bags. LHH with a good balanced start and gets the barrel into good launch position before working to impact. Pull oriented approach with real juice in the hands. There is a bit of length to the swing but the impact is undeniable. Strong athlete with a lot to look forward to and will be a definite prospect to follow as a left-handed hitting backstop. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
