Guriyandel Salva is a 2024 C/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Dorado, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Has young footwork behind the plate, tends to pull off to the third base side throwing, developing arm strength, makes accurate throws, has some lower half quickness in his shifting and overall actions. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a big leg raise load, turns his hips well and has good hips and back side drive, compact hand path into contact, works gap to gap with line drive contact, nice overall swing to continue to build on with additional strength. Excellent student.
