Carlos Rubio is a 2025 SS/2B/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Compact athletic build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a simple trigger and shift into contact, has some strength in his hands and swings hard, turns over the barrel well, stays balanced and under control, line drive swing with solid mid field to pull side contact. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has some lateral actions and agility, hands worked on the move, arm strength best suited for second base. Also worked out in the outfield but tools work best in the infield. Good student.
