Harris Woodside is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall lengthy build showing plenty of room to add strength moving forward. Worked from the stretch only with a full arm swing through the back to a high three-quarters arm slot using his extension well with projectable arm speed and a fastball that topped out at 84 mph. Was able to get to both sides of the plate with young command. Showed some more depth on the curveball in the upper 60’s along with a more horizontal slider in the low 70’s with tilt giving him two different looks to the breaking ball off the plane of the fastball. Works under control to the ball in the outfield receiving it on the side and gathering with a very long arm circle while still getting on top of the ball with average arm strength to the throws. Right-handed hitter starts with an even base and upright stance creating separation with the hand load. Showed bat speed creating space out front with extension at the point of contact using a quick lower half turn to keep the connection using the pull side at his best. Named to the 2023 South Top Prospects Games Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
