2022 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers
Nick Hernandez is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Asbury, NJ who attends North Hunterdon Reg. High waisted, young, athletic build with some lean muscle present throughout his frame with more physical projection left to be added. 7.13-second runner during the sixty. Primary outfielder, worked behind the ball with methodical footwork, fielding off his front foot as he carried his momentum through his throws well. Showed off some legitimate arm stench, working up to 87 mph on his throws to the bases. Uber-athletic with some refinement to actions needed. Right-handed hitter, slightly open, narrow stance with a high-back elbow. Flashed some impact to the pull side when on time with his toe-tap-trigger. Displayed some present quickness to his hands with compact bat speed as he is continue to develop feel for the barrel. Good student. Named to Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
