Zane Pollack is a 2025 MIF/C with a 5-4 150 lb. frame from Elgin, IL, who attends Burlington Central. A medium frame and a compact build. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder who had some strength on the arm, throwing 75 mph across the diamond with a shorter release from a higher slot. He moved well laterally, making the plays and adjusting slots as needed. He showed the glove and got it into position early, with some pace to his actions. A right-handed hitter who has a medium base with an even stance, showing the hands set high and back elbow up in his stance. He has a quieter stroke, with a short and quick stride to contact. Some speed to the hands with a compact operation overall. He aimed to work to the pull-side during his round of BP swings and produced some solid contact throughout the round. Strength showed when he was on-time with the barrel. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
