Jace Wright is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Features a lean, athletic build with room to add. Good runner. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Athleticism was shown throughout infield and outfield defensive workouts. Moved well on the dirt with sound actions through the catchpoint. Makes the routine play consistently. Showed an aggressive approach in the outfield. Can create momentum through the catchpoint into strong, accurate throws. Threw 80 mph during workouts. Right-handed otter. Utilizes a medium base stance into a slight leg lift timing mechanism. Quick hands generate quality bat speed through the zone. Approach allows for the entire field to be used. Can find the barrel often with more power coming down the line. Right-handed pitcher. Gets down the mound quickly using slight drop and drive mechanics. Throws form a 3/4 slot with some arm speed present. Fastball sat 75-78 mph. Offering can overwhelm hitters at the top of the zone. Pairs it with a tight, tilting slider at 64-68 mph (2425 rpm). Offering tunnels well off the heater and can miss bats often. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.
