2025 PG Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase
Braden Cox is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-3 176 lb. frame from Sea Girt, NJ who attends Ranney. Cox works from a medium athletic build with projection remaining as a '28 prospect. Primary OF, easy mover with good bounce to the footwork. Aggressive approach and carried momentum well through release. Arm action was clean and fluid with plenty of carry behind throws up to 86 mph. Kept throws low and on-line. On the mound, started from the 1B side of the rubber utilizing straight leg extension down the slope. Released from 3/4 slot with FB topping out at 84 mph. Did a nice job of hiding the baseball with developing spin in the arsenal. Offensively, started from a wider base with a compact, slightly wrapped hand set. Flashed bat speed through the zone with line drive tendencies in the stroke. Further room to unlock the full power potential in the frame. Posted an exit velo of 92 mph. Ran a 7.09 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
