2021 Puerto Rico Workout Showcase
Justin Soto is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-2 197 lb. frame from Aguadilla, PR who attends Esc Antolina Velez Interamericana. Tall, strong, and athletic frame that can still hold more weight. Ran a 8.20 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, starts in a ready position and really anticipates the ball in flight. Stays balanced while working his very quick feet. Strong arm and clean transfers led to good accuracy while popping a 1.93. A right-handed hitter, fires the pelvis hard to start a solid sequence. Loads the scap well and lets the barrel go with force to contact. Looks to extend and elevate and did so routinely. Good tools to build around on both sides of the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
