Noah Salazar is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 181 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist. Physical young athlete with good present strength. Has a smooth delivery on the mound and works down the mound well with good drive off his back leg, throws from a compact high 3/4's arm slot, still developing consistency in his release point and ability to spot the ball. Fastball worked in the mid 70's with some occasional flat tailing action. Change up showed promise with good arm speed and fading action. Curveball also showed some promise with some spin and tightness and sweeping shape. Developing better fastball command will be important to his development. 7.80 runner in the sixty. Played first base and the outfield on defense, looked solid at first base with good footwork and the ability to change arm slots and make accurate throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high hand set up, loads to his back side early, turns his strong hips hard and creates some bat speed, flashes some young jump off the bat, has hitting tools to continue to develop.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
