Blayse Burton is a 2027 MIF/RHP/LHP/UT with a 5-5 131 lb. frame from Lufkin, TX. Medium frame with a young, athletic build. Ran a 7.87 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, has an idea on the dirt, works around the ball and toward the bag well, clean funnel with two hands, longer to release, things to build on. Clean approach in the outfield, works through it well, has some arm strength. Also pitches, works better from the stretch, upper-60s fastball that plays true, shows some feel to spin and lands it comfortably, good amount of strikes. Right-handed hitter, longer swing, works to create lift from the back side, some quickness in the hands, level path and works low liners to the pull side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
