2025 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Camden Mattingly is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends John F Kennedy Catholic HS. Started the event off clocking a 4.94 40-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Features an ultra physical frame with plenty of present strength. In the OF, showed quality actions. Not much urgency/aggressiveness to the approach but worked low to the ground and got to a clean/out-front reception. Arm action was longer/full and showed an over the top release that got off accurate throws to the bag with avg. strength for his level (80 mph). At the plate, operated from a wider stance and went no stride into launch showing a more hands dominant swing. Barrel path was direct/steep to the baseball with a level finish. Noticeable above avg. bat/hand speed with present strength at impact. Majority GBs during his round but caught a couple out front for some loud pull side line drives that showed the power. Inconsistent timing and barrel accuracy during BP but found some hard contact during live at bats. On the mound, was exclusively from the stretch. Used a mid-chest knee tuck that he synced with a noticeable slower drop in his driveleg. Worked on-line at landing with a taller finish. Arm action was longer/full and worked to a normal 3/4 slot with avg. armspeed for his level. Ran the FB into the low 80s, T81 that flashed some running action. Mixed in a developing slurvy upper 60s breaker he slowed down his arm on and a straight CH in the low 70s.
