2023 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Coltin Spiess is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.01 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic at the position and moves to the ball well, under control and good funnel into a strong release, stays on top of his throws well with good carry up to 81 mph to bags. Plays on the dirt some too, a little hesitant at times but hands work and similar arm strength. Pitches too, good tempo and works with confidence in the stuff, good life to the fastball up to 79 and is tough to right-handed hitter, quality shape to the vertical breaking ball and showed firmer changeup, easy to build on all the parts long-term. Right-handed hitter, open start and stacks on the back side, some length to the swing and gets good extension, solid intent and able to impact the ball a good bit the other way.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
