Mathew Riendeau is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Holland, PA who attends Holy Ghost Prep. Riendeau worked from a variety of spots over the course of the weekend, starting with an impressive outing on the bump as a primary RHP. The strong projectable righty used a compact delivery and high 3/4 slot to drive down hill and consistently get on top, ultimately touching 80 mph on a heavy FB. Riendeau showed repeatability to the mechanics and threw strikes efficiently, mixing an 11-5 curve with solid depth as well as a changeup on occasion. From the IF, he successfully fielded out in front with carry across the diamond, touching 81 mph. The footwork was sound from both the IF and OF with natural athleticism present. Offensively, the righty started from an even balanced stance with strong hands and feel for the barrel to produce consistent contact to the pull side. Power potential will continue to develop, posting an exit velo of 75 mph. Ran a 7.19 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
