Jp Colon Jr is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-6 123 lb. frame from Breinigsville, PA who attends Parkland. High-waisted, young athletic build with physical projection remaining. Recorded a 8.78-second 60-yard time. Primary middle-infielder, deep fielding funnel working uphill as works through the ball. Flashed some range going to his left and right, showcasing the ability to change arm slots on the move. Methodical footwork with developing foot speed. 69 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from a full wind-up with a slight side rocker step into belt-high leg lift. Higher 3/4 slot, staying on top of the ball as he works down in the zone producing weak, groundball contact. Filled with the zone with strikes throughout his outing, fastball held in the 68-70 mph range during his two innings of work, velocity with continue to climb as he adds strength and matures physically. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance. Utilizes a leg-lift-trigger to engage lower half, getting mistimed a bit at times. Continuing to develop feel for the barrel with flashed of line-drive contact through to the gaps. Good student.
