2022 Sunshine East Showcase
Victor Rivera is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Orocovis, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Smaller build with room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.59 in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, moves to the ball well with quick lower half actions, presents the glove early, good arm strength for second base. Right handed hitter hits from a straight stance with a short and direct swing path, showed the ability to turn the barrel, consistent timing and enough twitch to impact that ball a bit and move it around the field. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
