Sebastian Hernandez is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Coral Gables. Compact frame with square shoulders. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, active footwork straight to the baseball, some feel for the leather, circles the backhand, developing ability to move laterally, gathers feet with balance and throws across with some carry and accuracy. Secondary right-handed pitcher, leg lift to the belt, shorter compact arm stroke, downhill plane from over the top slot, some arm side run, repeatable mechanics, 11-5 bite to the curveball, in the zone for the most part. Right-handed hitter, open base with tight and high hands, inward move to launch, turns it over pretty quick, some strength present and worked right-centerfield when in a rhythm, consistent extension will be key. Some tools to like here, could handle left side of the infield if asked with current skillset and has components in the stroke that work.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
