Michael Gardner is a 2025 SS/IF, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Oyster Bay, NY who attends Chaminade. Recorded a 4.71 40-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a tall, lean, and athletic frame. Showed clean actions in the infield, moving around with athleticism. Comfort ranging up the middle and used a short arm action and quick release. Strong arm across the diamond, recording throws up to 88 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base and slightly open feet. Swing is balanced with some length. Stays quiet and produced loud barrels. Has the ability to use the opposite field with authority and was consistent during the round, utilizing an all fields approach. Great student. Verbal commitment to Kentucky. Named to the 2024 New England Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
