Walker McElwain is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 206 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Bishop O'Connell. McElwain works from a broad build with evident strength proportioned throughout. Primary 1B, showcased clean funnels with reliable glove work around the bag. Displayed quick turns with accurate throws produced. Topped out at 79 mph across the diamond. Also worked from the left side of the IF, flashed developing range with projectable glove actions once again. Offensively, McElwain swung one of the louder bats of the event, flashing effortless strength in the hands with carry production to the middle of the field. Starts from more of an upright base with further power potential to unlock in the lower half. Posted an exit velo of 93 mph. Ran a 7.87 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
