2021 Sunshine Texas Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Jafed Parrilla is a 2022 1B/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Crowley, TX who attends Crowley. Ran a 7.76 60 yard dash. Short arm action in the infield and whips it around well. Above average arm accuracy. Good hands at first base and scoops well. At the plate, is more power tool oriented than hit tool. High hand set up with a simple load. Swings with good intent and has some natural lift in the swing. He has some juice and showed it off to pullside mainly in BP. His highest exit velocity was 84 MPH. Excellent student in the classroom.
