Asher Kirchoff is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends East View High School. Lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. Has an uptempo delivery with a long arm takeaway in back, 3/4's arm slot with some cross fire action at release, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight with good angle through the zone, throws strikes with his fastball. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, gets nice sweeping depth and throws it for strikes, got lots of swing and miss on the curveball. Strike throwing lefty with lots of physical projection. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Showed good athleticism at first base defensively, has loose actions and stays balanced well. Right handed hitter, hits from an open start with a well controlled shift into contact, has some hand quickness and looseness, was on time consistently and barreled up the ball with an all fields approach. Good athlete who is going to keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
