Gavin Klennert is a 2024 OF/C, IF with a 5-9 202 lb. frame from Theilman, MN who attends american school of doha. Medium frame with broad shoulders and beginnings of strength. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Fields baseball out front and worked through exchange with a compact arm circle. Released from a three-quarters arm slot producing accurate carry to the bag at 79 mph. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing good range while moving to the baseball glove side. Funnels the baseball out front and moved through exchange with efficient actions. Released from a three-quarters arm slot and produced accurate carry to the bag at 72 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and hanging front side trigger. Loose hand path to contact with a slightly leveraged barrel plane through extension. Looked to attack the baseball with intent and create lift to the gaps. Flashed good carry when throwing the barrel head to contact on time.
