Jack Lapertosa is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-8 205 lb. frame from Bethpage, NY who attends Bethpage. Thicker build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, starts from an open bent knee stance with a low back elbow load and tight hands, moves into contact well, uphill swing plane, got the ball in the air consistently, repeated his timing and path well, has some power on his pitch. 8.59 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball cleanly, comes out of his crouch quickly, arm strength is still developing, tends to open his front side very early throwing.
