Peyton Shaw is a 2025 MIF/RHP/C/3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Newtown, PA who attends Council Rock North. Shaw works from a young medium build with additional room to fill out and add strength. As a primary MIF, he displayed soft backhands with the ability to change slots and make plays up the middle. He flashed developing arm strength with consistent throws across the diamond up to 76 mph. On the bump, Shaw worked from the 1B side of the rubber utilizing a compact operation overall with a medium arm stroke and low 3/4 release. He repeated the delivery well with a slurvy breaker in the arsenal that kept hitters honest at 2375 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open base with a wrapped hand set and hanging leg trigger that generated contact to all parts of the field. He has room to refine the stroke and gain additional feel for the barrel, posting an exit velo of 74 mph. Ran a 7.59 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
