2024 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase (Wed.)
Connor Maupin is a 2027 SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Maineville, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Slender young athletic build with plenty of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has very smooth and fluid actions through the ball, feet work really well, glove gets in idea position fielding, plays low to the ball, arm strength still developing but throws from different angles and makes accurate throws, going to really take a step forward when he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand load, uphill swing plane, can get stuck on his back side at times, rotational swing, gap to gap contact. Defense stands out at present, good bet to keep improving in all areas. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
