Jackson Golub is a 2022 C/3B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from East Setauket, NY who attends Ward Melville Senior. Golub worked from a medium athletic frame in the OF, attacking the ball aggressively with a compact arm action that released the ball quickly. He displayed long direct strides with carry on accurate throws. From behind the dish, Golub showcased a staggered stance with flashes of accuracy downhill to second. He used a repeatable compact release to record a 2.22 pop time. Offensively, he started from an open stance with a hover trigger and solid lower half rotation. He had feel for the barrel and successfully got the hands out in front. Ran a 7.64 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
