2024 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Finnian O'Loughlin is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Jersey City, NJ who attends Delbarton. Extremely athletic look with strength and plenty of room to still add. Offered a three-pitch mix that included fastball, slider and changeup. Stays balanced and the top of the windup while dropping into the drive to the plate, showing excellent athleticism on the mound. In the outfield, he attacks the ball effortlessly while staying behind the baseball and shows a clean gather. Maintains momentum through the baseball with clean arm action that stays quick. Threw 91 mph from the outfield with an absolute seed on the final throw of the workout. At the plate he has an upright, slightly open stance with high hands, a high back elbow and a hanging trigger. Impacts it well while consistently staying on the barrel showcasing gap to gap juice. Loud round out of Finnian. Ran a 6.91 sixty-yard dash. Very good student. Named to the 2024 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
