William Howell is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Mount Laurel, NJ who attends Holy Cross. Works from a lean frame with squared shoulders and plenty of room to fill out. Primary pitcher, displayed an abbreviated windup with smooth lower half movements and shorter arm action. Commanded four-pitch mix effortlessly, fastball peaked at 81 mph, slider is sharp with late bite in the low 70s, curveball has subtle vertical depth in the upper-60s and changeup showed fade in the mid-70s. Threw all pitches for strikes, projects for more velocity in the near future. In the infield, Howell worked through the ball well, displaying a decent glove with arm strength up to 85 mph. Right-handed hitter, started in a wider, even base, hunched stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and a toe tap trigger. Showed tons of hand speed, keeping the hands inside the baseball, explosive turn through contact, created backspin and carry, controlled the barrel well, power still in development, recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Named to the Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
