James Cronin is a 2024 OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Xaverian. Works from a medium with some strength present. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball well, attempts to work on top, compact arm action with a low three-quarters release point, throws have some carry to them, delivered low and online throws, recorded arm strength up to 81 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an open base, utilizes a toe-tap trigger and compact contact-oriented stroke, remains in-sync throughout the load, gets rotational at times, produced liners to the middle of the field when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 7.16 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
