Jackson Vanderzee is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Victory Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.25 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and some physicality at present. Primary catcher with quickness to actions and a lower arm slot. Good carry on throws with a clean lower half. Whip to the arm stroke and has a quick exchange with a best recorded pop time of 2.10 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a deeper hand set and good strength and jump to the middle of the field. Solid barrel ability with good carry off the bat. Repeats swing well and has a fairly consistent swing plane. Plenty of barrel skill along with strength to his wrists to project for power. Great student.
