Lane Sparks is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Recorded a 6.74 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder shows great athleticism and drive through the baseball with a smooth and easy glove action as he fields the ball out front using a strong arm with a smooth transfer, a long arm action, and a quick release while accurately throwing the ball 88 mph to the bases. Secondary left-handed pitcher shows a great ability to move the fastball on both sides of the plate with good rhythm in his delivery topping 85 mph and also mixes in a good breaking ball that has tight spin and good depth. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate with a wide, slightly open stance, high hands, and loads the back side well using a short leg lift trigger and good hip rotation to generate tremendous bat speed as he works the ball gap-the-gap with a line drive path. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
