Aaron Kimbel is a 2022 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Fuquay Varina, NC who attends Apex. Recorded a 7.13 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman has a strong build that projects well alongside showing quick feet with a good glove and a quick turn accurately throwing 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves from a full wind up with a short sidestep into a high leg lift as he attacks the zone with good downhill action on his fastball that has late cutting action while topping 76 mph. Kimbel also mixes in a breaking ball that has good depth with a developing release point. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate with a slightly open stance, high hands, a high back elbow, and swings with a line drive path showing some barrel control. He works the ball middle of the field while developing backspin on the ball. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
